Started in 1994, Protective Products International manages it's production of body armor from a Florida base. Protective Products International has done this. The company enjoys strong support from many distributors who once carried only well-known brands. With the early introduction of the Pioneer Series, police officers experienced superior comfort in a vest which provided a true fit. The ArmorLite line soon followed in response to customer demand by offering improved vest performance at an affordable cost. More recently, with the development of Cool Plus System, law enforcement officers can enjoy extended wear of their armor in extreme hot weather conditions. Protective Products puts special effort into working with those agencies caught in the recent budget crunch, by offering incentives to ensure officers receive ballistic protection while doing their job.

Currently, the company continues its outreach to all security service personnel, by advertising in well known publications. Protective Products also keeps pace in a very competitive market through an interactive website, which draws enormous feedback from domestic and international markets.
